Confusion matrix for infestation status of all 98 trees in test data set. Borer Infestation Score (BIS) formula developed from principal component analysis (PCA) conducted on training data set was applied to test data set. Based on calculated BIS formula, trees were either classified as noninfested (BIS < –1.0132) or infested (BIS ≥ –1.0132).
