A failure to identify tree hazards during survey or monitoring practices may lead to personal injury or damage to property. This could be ruled by the courts to be a breach of responsibility on the part of the inspecting arborist. While we cannot prevent all accidents, many can be avoided if we look for tree hazards during IPM visits.
