Street tree inventory components analyzed included vigor according to condition class, monetary value, number of trees and species composition. Community factors relating to streettree prog rams were explored through a questionnaire. A study of street tree inventories from twenty-two communities revealed trends toward an increase in species diversity, an increase in the number of trees, and a decline in vigor. Monetary value increased and decreased in an equal number of communities. ER -
