AB  - A soil resource and tree inventory of the Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois campus was undertaken to develop management strategies for maintaining mature oak groves in an urbanized environment. The inventory used biological, physical, and chemical methods to evaluate the campus landscape. This integrative approach provides a comprehensive landscape evaluation as the basis for long-range planning.
