Branching structure and habit enable an informed observer to identify 3 of 5 cultivars studied. The remaining 2 cultivars have fairly similar outlines. Foliage density is open for honeylocust, which allows a greater selection of plants to be grown under the foliage canopy of honeylocust. Graphic representations are presented for each cultivar for both summer and winter character. Drawings are to scale and allow comparison of the 5 cultivars at the common chronological age of 15 years. ER -
