In the July 2013 issue of Arboriculture & Urban Forestry (volume 39, issue 4), we published a manuscript authored by Stewart et al. (“Review of QTRA and Risk-based Cost-benefit Assessment of Tree Management,” pp. 165–172).

Regarding Figure 2 (p. 166) of this manuscript, it has come to our attention that the caption’s literature reference of Marsden (2007) requires full citation, which shall be provided here: Marsden, D. 2007. Investigation into Stability of Three Hill’s Weeping Figs along Laman Street Newcastle. July, 11, 2007. In addition, the photograph used in Figure 2 was of a tree that was not part of the case study referenced; the photo was used without the report author’s knowledge. The editor and authors apologize and regret the error.

The authors also failed to disclose their involvement in the case history used in the manuscript.

Regards,

AUF Administration
