Abundance of spider mites and the resulting injury to boxwood leaves were significantly greater on shrubs that were treated with imidacloprid. The solid line is the fitted least squares linear regression. Percent discoloration of boxwood leaves increased with spider mite abundance and reached over 50% at the greatest densities of spider mites.
